Xavier International College is a co-educational college operating in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Founded in 2001, the College is affiliated with the Nepal Examination Board (NEB) which provides Class 11 and Class 12 qualifications and is also affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) UK which offers A-level (Class 12) qualifications. National Examination Board popularly abbreviated as NEB, is the board that organizes the Secondary Education in Nepal. NEB+2 is the popular pathway for further education for post-SEE (or equivlent level) students. The two-year +2 curriculum is an academically challenging period so our young scholars need to have motivation and should focus upon set goals. Close and regular interaction between students and teachers brings about active learning, good results, student satisfaction, and continuing interest in education.

In completion of the program, the students develop solid foundation in their chosen subjects to pursue their higher education in addition to learning certain life skills for effectively meeting the challenges and opportunities that modern time provides.

The General Certificate of Education Advanced Level or more commonly, the A Level, is internationally benchmarked qualifications providing exceptional preparation for commencement of university education.

Our specially designed A Level subject combinations are to fulfill the requirements of and to prepare students for university studies such as science, medical, engineering, business and liberal arts. Students have to choose at least three subjects at A Level in addition to the English General Paper – the compulsory core subject – at AS Level.

Transportation

College buses widely operate within Kathmandu Valley in three districts: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur so as to serve as many of our students as feasible.

Hostel

Our hostel comprising one Hostel for boys and another for girls include well- managed Cafeterias. The living areas are pleasing and the food is continually tested for its hygiene value.

Physics Lab

To make the students realize that how physical phenomena occurs in real life practices.

Biology Lab

A biology laboratory is a room where students get conceptual and practical knowledge of life and life process.

Chemestry Lab

To allow the students to explore chemical concepts , view changes in matter and acquire scientific skills.

To learn programming language, basic softwires, basic concept of Hardware and software.

Cafeteria
